Japan’s Premier Tech Conference

I had an incredible time speaking at TeamZ in Tokyo. The contrast between the beautiful, historic Happo-en venue and the cutting-edge tech conversations was amazing. The event was well organized and the attendees were high quality.

An event that provides a regular opportunity to observe the current state of the global Web3 ecosystem and the progress being made within Japan. With industry leaders covering a wide range of related fields, it also offers valuable opportunities to build connections with potential partners both in Japan and overseas.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again for the valuable opportunity to speak at this event for the third time. With each edition, I could truly feel the event growing in scale and the energy at the venue becoming even stronger. It was a great honor to play a part in such a vibrant gathering. I was also grateful to have the opportunity to speak directly with many participants on the day, and I personally gained a great deal of insight and learning. In particular, being able to share the strong interest and enthusiasm surrounding technological fields such as Web3 and AI has become a major source of inspiration for my future activities. Finally, I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations on the great success of the event, and I look forward to meeting everyone again.

Compared with last year, I had the impression that the participant segments had changed, with more people from operating companies, government organizations, and university professors attending the sessions. As a result, it became easier to have more business-oriented discussions. I also felt that TEAMZ’s content had improved even further. For example, Dassai was available in various areas, which helped spark conversations. I also thought the chindon-ya performance was very good. One area for improvement would be the guidance from Happo-en to the TEAMZ reception area, which did not seem to work smoothly. I also felt that the reception process itself took some time. I would be very happy to cooperate again in some way next year.

Participating in TEAMZ Web3/AI Summit 2026 was a highly meaningful experience for us. It gave many people the opportunity to learn about our initiatives, while also allowing us to engage directly with participants from both inside and outside the industry. By encountering a wide range of perspectives and initiatives related to Web3, we were once again able to recognize the breadth and potential of the industry as a whole. We will continue our efforts to contribute to the healthy development of the Web3 industry.

Absolutely wonderful hospitality, event and organisation. One of (if not the best) crypto events i’ve been to over the decade. Also a big thank you for giving me / Litecoin the opportunity to speak; was fun! Hope to do it all again next year.

In a packed venue filled with unprecedented energy, I strongly felt that 2026 marks a turning point where Bitcoin and blockchain technologies are beginning to connect with society in earnest. In this session, we used “Bitcoin price forecasts” as the starting point, and the discussion expanded across geopolitics, finance, and regulation to examine the deeper structures behind them. What was it that Satoshi Nakamoto truly designed? How do we take responsibility for it, and how far can we go in shaping the future? I believe the insights and questions gained from this event will become the starting point for building the society of tomorrow. Thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity.

TEAMZ is something different. Happo-en as a venue set the tone straight away super unique, proper mix of tradition and cutting-edge Web3 conversations. But what really stood out was the people. High-quality builders, real conversations, no fluff. For us at Hashlock, it made one thing clear we’re doubling down on Japan. The opportunity here is real. We’ll definitely be back. Although the session I spoke in focused on the somewhat complex topic of DID/VC, a very large number of people attended. I was both surprised and delighted by the high level of interest and enthusiasm among TEAMZ participants. It truly felt like one of Japan’s largest Web3 and AI festivals.
